Samdech Krala Hom Sar Kheng, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, urged the new Governor of Ratanakkiri Province, H.E. Nhem Sam Oeun, along with the Senior officials and civil servants of the border guard force to absolutely protect the territorial integrity, national sovereignty and strengthen cooperation with other border provinces to promote the development of the border into a peaceful, economic and trade area.
Samdech Sar Kheng encouraged authorities at all level to strengthen cooperation to prevent all kinds of transnational crime, and strive to protect forests and other natural resources in the province well and effectively.
The request was made when Samdech Sar Kheng presided over the inauguration ceremony of the new Governor of Ratanakkiri Province, H.E. Nhem Sam Oeun.
Samdech Krala Hom Sar Kheng instructed the Ratanakkiri Provincial Administration to continue to work to maintain peace and order, which is key to ensure socio-economic development, as well as to continue to implement measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 set out by Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia.
Samdech Sar Kheng continued to encourage the officials to provide good public services to the people, try to solve people's problems well, open their hearts to receive feedback, improvements and suggestions from people.
