Samdech Krala Hom Sar Kheng, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Ministry of Interior, urged border provincial authorities to ensure a peaceful border so that people can have more markets to sell their products, especially to promote the exchange of goods.
The advice was made when Samdech Sar Kheng presided over a ceremony to inaugurate new Governor of Battambang Province on October 11, 2021 at Battambang Provincial Administration.
He also urged the border authorities to make more efforts to help the exchange of the goods of the people in the border areas to go smoothly, especially to strengthen their cooperation to prevent all kinds of cross-border crimes, as well as drug.
Samdech Sar Kheng further instructed all provincial administration officials to continue their duty to protect the territorial integrity with efforts to strengthen cooperation with other border provinces to ensure border peace and development.
