The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, presided over the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of three additional facilities at Calmette Hospital.

They are the Central Center, the parking lot and the workshop and Cyclotron Medical Center.

Calmette Hospital is one of the major health care providers in Cambodia.

The hospital has constantly been upgraded to meet the growing demand for health services. It has expanded its infrastructure, including the construction of more health care facilities and the installation of more modern medical equipment.

The construction project is covered by the remaining funds from the Techo Aphiwat building project, which was donated by Samdech Techo Hun Sen, former Prime Minister and currently President of the Senate, and his wife, Samdech Kittipritthbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen.

The construction project is expected to cost a total of more than US$62 million
