The Royal Government of Cambodia and the Government of China have expressed their joint position on the continuation of bilateral cooperation on security, law enforcement and Combating Drugs.

The expression was made in the meeting between H.E Neth Savoeun, Deputy Prime Minister, and H.E Wang Wenbin, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Cambodia, on September 18, 2024.

Deputy Prime Minister Neth Savoeun spoke about the good cooperation between Cambodia and China, including security, economy and trade. The Deputy Prime Minister thanked the Chinese government for its cooperation and development assistance in a number of areas, and contribution to Cambodia's development so far.

For his part, the Chinese Ambassador said that China will continue to support the Royal Government of Cambodia to play an important role in the region and in the international arena to promote the win-win policy of Samdech Techo Hun Sen, former Prime Minister of Cambodia.

The Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister lauded the commitment to strengthen cooperation in all fields between the Chinese government and the Royal Government of Cambodia, He also stressed that based on the experience as well as the high capacity of the Ambassador is always ready to support the work in Cambodia to be more successful.
