More than 400 people continued to visit the border demarcation along the eastern border with Vietnam.

The visit was made in Tbong Khmum, Kratie and Mondulkiri provinces.

A bus convoy left on Saturday, October 12, 2024 for Tbong Khmum, Kratie and Mondulkiri and returned to Phnom Penh on the night of the same day.

The visit to the Northeastern was the fifth of the kind and was organized and coordinated by a working group led by H.E. Neth Pheaktra, Minister of Information.

People joined the visit have learned and seen with their own eyes the better living conditions of the local people, the actual geographical situation in the local area, especially the location of the Cambodia-Vietnam border posts in this geographical area. The passengers listened todetailed explanations by professional officers on the demarcation of the border.

This visit has allowed people to understand the strong will of the Royal Government of Cambodia to continue the mission to protect national sovereignty, territorial integrity and to ensure peace and socio-economic stability for the benefit of the nation and all Cambodians.
