The American company Stabil Nutrition LLC and the local company Amru Rice Cambodia have planned to jointly invest in building a bran processing plant for exports to the US market.

The joint investment plan was announced during a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chanthol, First Vice Chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia and Mr. Song Saran, President of Amru Rice (Cambodia), and Mr. Michael A. Tarrasch, President of Stabil Nutrition LLC, in Phnom Penh on December 9, 2024.

According to the Council for the Development of Cambodia, Amru Rice and Stabil Nutrition LLC signed a memorandum of understanding in September 2024.

H.E Sun Chanthol also spoke about the investment facilitation of the Council for the Development of Cambodia and the vision of the Royal Government of Cambodia to support businesses through incentives and tax exemptions for investment.
