Cambodia-Pakistan satisfy the progress of relations between the two countries

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, and H.E Jam Kamal Khan, Commerce Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, highly appreciated the progress of relations between the two countries.

The appreciation was made when Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister, met with Commerce Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, at the Peace Palace on January 21, 2025.

H.E Jam Kamal Khan, Commerce Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, expressed satisfaction with the good relations between Pakistan and Cambodia and said that this progress contributes to strengthening cooperation in many fields between the two countries.

The Pakistani Minister informed the Cambodian Prime Minister that his visit to Cambodia had provided many good experiences and he had observed similarities in many sectors of Pakistan and Cambodia.

H.E added that the purpose of his visit was to attend the first Cambodia-Pakistan Joint Trade Committee meeting in Cambodia, which will bring together the business communities of Pakistan and Cambodia, which will contribute to creating more investment opportunities for businessmen from both countries and strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

For his part, the Cambodian Prime Minister highly appreciated and was satisfied with the relations between the two countries, and through the first Cambodia-Pakistan Joint Trade Committee meeting, it reflected the progress of Cambodia-Pakistan relations.

He highlighted that the meeting would not only help expand investment opportunities but also help expand cooperation in other potential areas between Cambodia and Pakistan.

The two sides also discussed promoting, strengthening and expanding cooperation in many important sectors, including: economy, trade, investment, health, education, agriculture, technology, industry, tourism, and people-to-people ties.
