The Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) has been optimistic that Cambodia’s economic growth will continue to grow by about 6.3% in 2025.

The Cambodian People’s Party’s optimism was highlighted in a report on the Party’s activities in 2024 and work directions in 2025 presented at the 45th Congress of its Central Committee held on January 25 and 26, 2025.

The report stressed that the assessment wasbased on Cambodia’s progress in various sectors in 2024. It noted with pride the general situation in the country in 2024, which ensured the socio-economic development and peaceful living of the people under the shadow of peace.

The Congress observed that democracy and the rule of law in Cambodia have been firmly protected and continuously developed, which has ensured the strengthening of peace, public order, socio-economic development and respect for all rights and freedoms of the people.

The Congress noted with pride the achievements of socio-economic development, which has reflected the resilience of the Cambodian economy in the context of facing the complex evolution of the international situation and many other negative factors.
