The National Assembly President of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Samdech Khuon Sudary, said that social harmony, which includes promoting interfaith understanding and tolerance, is an important foundation for building peace and national development under the umbrella of peace, Cambodia has religious harmonization, making Cambodia prosperous, peaceful and harmonious.

The National Assembly president made this statement during a working meeting with His Excellency Tan Sri Dato Johari Abdul, Speaker of the National Assembly of Malaysia, at the National Assembly Palace on the morning of October 25, 2025.

The Cambodian National Assembly president said that the Ramadan Iftar Dinner of the Cambodian Muslim is organized annually to promote unity, mutual respect and understanding among communities of different faiths, and the presence of the Speaker of the National Assembly of Malaysia on this occasion further enhances this spirit.

The Cambodian National Assembly President was also very pleased to have a working meeting with His Excellency Tan Sri Dato’ Johari Abdul after his official visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia in January.

The organization of the 9th Ramadan Iftar Dinner of the Cambodian Muslim, was organized on Monday March 24, under the auspicious of Samdech Thpadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
