Her excellency Chea Serey, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia recently met with a delegation of the National Bank of Canada and the ABA Bank, led by Mr. Laurent Ferreira, President and CEO of the National Bank of Canada.

The National Bank of Canada is a major bank in Canada and a shareholder of ABA Bank, one of the largest commercial banks in Cambodia.

Mr Laurent Ferreira expressed his appreciation for the National Bank of Cambodia’s unwavering efforts in developing Cambodia’s financial sector and highlighted the National Bank of Cambodia’s excellence in promoting national economic growth.

The National Bank of Canada highly values ​​the opportunity to operate in Cambodia through ABA Bank, its wholly-owned subsidiary, said Mr. Laurent Ferreira. Mr. Laurent Ferreira stressed that that the success of the National Bank of Canada’s investment in the Cambodian bank has raised Cambodia’s profile in Canada as an attractive investment destination.
