The Cambodian Prime Minister: The Royal Government will strive to build more new achievements to respond to the growth of the Cambodian population

Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the new flyover is named Morodok Techo and is located at the intersection of Chamkar Mon and Meanchey districts in the capital of Phnom Penh on April 7th, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, said that the Royal Government will strive to build new achievements to respond to the growth of the Cambodian population.

The achievement of the Morodok Techo flyover will not only solve the traffic congestion in the area, but also connect the transportation and logistics system in southern Phnom Penh, in conjunction with the construction of Samdech Thipadei flyover to support the new international airport and the Funan-Techo canal Project.

The construction of the flyover started the ground breaking ceremony on August 31, 2022, under the auspicious of Samdech Techo Hun Sen, former Prime Minister and now President of the Senate.

The Morodok Techo flyover cost a total of more than US$36 million from the Koh Norea Development fund, has taken for 36 months to build.

This is the first flyover to be officially inaugurated during the mandate of the Royal Government, the 7th mandate of the National Assembly.
