Cambodia and Vietnam expressed satisfaction with the good cooperation between the law enforcement units of the two countries on public security work.

The two sides affirmed the optimism at a meeting in Phnom Penh on Tuesday April 8, 2025 between His Excellency Sar Sokha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of Cambodia and Colonel. Rong QuangBac, Head of the Vietnamese Police Mission in Cambodia.

Deputy Prime Minister Sar Sokha thanked the Vietnamese Ministry of Police for always supporting and providing cooperation to the Cambodian Ministry of Interior in maintaining security, safety, social order, and preventing and curbing all crimes, especially cross-border crimes. He believed that cooperation between Cambodia and Vietnam would continue to strengthen and expand in a sustainable and long-lasting manner.

For his part, the Head of Head of the Vietnamese Police Mission in Cambodia, highly appreciated the relations and cooperation between the two countries, both in general and specifically between the Cambodian Ministry of Interior and the Vietnamese Ministry of Police.
