Cambodia and Thailand expressed their hope that the relations and cooperation between Cambodia and Thailand will continue to grow stronger, especially in strengthening law enforcement, exchanging work, and discussing for the sake of border security and sustainable development for both countries.
The expression was made when Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Ministry of Interior, H.E Sar Sokha met with H.E Tull Traisorat, Thai Ambassador to Cambodia, on Monday, April 21, 2025 at the Ministry of Interior.
H.E Sar Sokha highly valued the cooperation with the Thai side in preventing and suppressing crimes, exchanging and sharing information, cooperating in combating cross-border crimes, and mutual assistance in resolving various incidents that occur in the border areas.
H.E Tull Traisorat expressed his appreciation for the bilateral relations between Cambodia and Thailand, especially border cooperation.
Deputy Prime Minister Sar Sokha also expressed his deep thanks for the efforts of the Thai Ambassador for his attention to promoting good cooperation and playing an active role in contributing to strengthening relations and expanding cooperation between the two countries, Cambodia and Thailand, especially on preventing border crimes, and in important sectors such as economy, politics, trade, tourism, national defense and security.
The two sides also discussed and exchanged views on cooperation in the security sector.
