The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia said that the Royal government has always encouraged foreign investors to produce car accessories in Cambodia in order to create jobs for citizens.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, mentioned this when he presided over the inauguration of the new Ford production line of RMA Cambodia in Krakor district, Pursat province, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

The Cambodian Prime Minister said that the Royal Government of Cambodia, from one mandate to another, has strived to encourage investment in the country, which has not only generated jobs for local people, but also enabled Cambodians to buy cars at an affordable price.

The Cambodian Prime Minister also said that tax exemptions, tax relief, and incentives to some extent have also helped facilitate local production.
