On Wednesday April 23, 2025, Thai Prime Minister H.E. Mrs. Paetongtarn Shinawatra and her husband have been in Cambodia for a 2-day official visit from April 23 to 24, 2025.
The Thai Prime Minister’s visit to Cambodia is at the invitation of Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia.
According to a press release of the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during this visit, H.E. Mrs. Paetongtarn Shinawatra and her husband will have a royal audience with His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, King of the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the Royal Palace.
The Prime Minister will have separate courtesy calls with Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, and Samdech Khoun Sudary, President of the National Assembly.
The Thai Prime Minister and the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia will have a bilateral meeting to discuss the direction of action to further deepen and expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
The two leaders also witnessed the signing of documents on bilateral cooperation in a number of fields.
The visit of the Thai Prime Minister as the two kingdoms celebrate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations, which will further strengthen the traditional friendship between the two peoples.
