The Prime Minister of Thailand thanked the Cambodian government for its good cooperation in combating cybercrime along the border between the two countries.
In a joint statement made public on Wednesday, April, 23rd, 2025 on the result of the official visit to Cambodia of Her excellency Paetongtarn Shinawatra, the Thai Prime Minister affirmed her continued cooperation to eliminate the criminal network from the Cambodian-Thai border area.
The Cambodian Prime Minister, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet affirmed the position of the Cambodian Royal Government to continue cooperation with Thailand especially on information sharing to combat cross-border crimes, cybercrimes, disinformation, human trafficking, and smuggling of illegal goods.
The Cambodian Prime Minister stressed the importance of building a common peaceful, stable and prosperous border as the two countries agreed to strengthen military cooperation, especially among units stationed along the border.
The Thai Prime Minister stated that the Thai government would strengthen its security partnership with Cambodia by agreeing to promote closer military cooperation at all levels to maintain peace, stability and security along the common border of the two countries.
The Prime Ministers of the both countries agreed to continue working together to promote the strategic partnership between the two countries to a higher level to ensure growth and prosperity for both nations.
