The President of the Cambodian Senate said that the Cambodia-Thailand cooperation had to be comprehensive because the two countries have cooperated extensively and in all sectors.
Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, made the remarks when he received Her excellency Paetongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister of Thailand, in Phnom Penh on Wednesday April 23, 2025.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen wished to see the two countries consider strengthening economic and trade cooperation in both bilateral and sub-regional frameworks in order to strengthen market diversification and respond to the rapidly changing world, especially the geopolitical and economic competition of major powers.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen also thanked the Thai government for its caring for Cambodian workers in Thailand.
The Thai Prime Minister informed Samdech Techo Hun Sen about the results of the discussion with the Cambodian Prime Minister, with the governments of the two countries continuing to work together to further promote cooperation and bilateral relations.
