The Minister of Public Works and Transport, said that the Royal Government considers the private sector as an indispensable engine in contributing to the development of the national society, and the private sector has also been contributing to achieving the goals of the Royal Government in diversifying the production base, incorporating modern technology and innovative ideas to increase the efficiency and strengthen the competitiveness of the national economy, and creating jobs to reduce poverty and improve the people's livelihood.

The statement was made when the Minister of Public Works and Transport, H.E Peng Pornea, presided over the 21st annual meeting of the Cambodian Logistics Association, on Thursday April 24, 2025.

The Minister of Public Work highly appreciated the Cambodian Logistics Association for its strong participation with the Royal Government in promoting the transport and logistics sector in Cambodia.

The Minister stated that the potential of private sector investment in all sectors, including domestic and foreign investors, has actively contributed to promoting Cambodia's economic growth.

In response to the master plan, the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, as the Royal Government's executive body, has made efforts to build various infrastructures to promote intermodal transport and logistics connectivity.
