The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia said that negotiating Cambodia has been working hard to continue negotiating with the US to protect the interests of the trade and economy of the people, especially the Cambodian economy.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, spoke of the Royal Government’s efforts when he held a get-together with civil servants, employees, and workers at the Preah Sihanouk Autonomous Port on Thursday, May 1 in the province of Preah Sihanouk.

The Cambodian Prime Minister stressed that the tariff issue with the US has been the most complicated thing, but the Royal Government would try its best to talk with the US side.

The Cambodian Prime Minister further said that the Cambodian negotiating team has met with the US Trade Representative once, on April 16, and they met again on May 2.

The get-together held at the Preah Sihanouk Autonomous Port

to mark the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day on May 1.
