Addressing a get-together with civil servant and workers in Preah Sihanoukville in the province of Preah Sihanouk on Thursday, May,1st to mark the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day on May 1, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet said that Takeo Province was the 6th province to complete the measurement and registration of land plots for citizens.

The Cambodian Prime Minister stressed that Kampong Cham Province has become the first province in Cambodia to complete the procedures while other provinces such as Kep and Kampong Speu have followed suit.  

The Prime Minister hoped that the successful land registration would help citizens to feel confident in their land ownership and to eliminate all disputes arising from land occupation.

The process can also encourage investment in Cambodia because the land problem system would no longer an obstacle, added the Cambodian Premier.
