The Cambodian Prime Minister: Cambodia-South Korea relations established by Samdech Techo Hun Sen have brought many benefits to the nation and people

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, said that the relations between Cambodia and the Republic of Korea, which were re-established by Samdech Techo Hun Sen, former Prime Minister of Cambodia, in 1997, have brought many benefits to the Cambodian nation and people.

The point was made when Samdech ThipadeiHun Manet, presided over the groundbreaking ceremony of the Takhmao City Wastewater Treatment System Development Project on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.

The Cambodian Prime Minister stressed that this year marks the 28th anniversary of Cambodia-South Korea diplomatic relations.

The Cambodian Prime Minister highlighted the value of the relationship between Cambodia and South Korea over the past 28 years.

According to the Cambodian Premier, during his official visit to the Republic of Korea, the diplomatic relationship has been upgraded to a strategic partnership that would increase cooperation.

The Cambodian Prime Minister also expressed his thanks to the people and government of the Republic of Korea for their contributions to the development of Cambodia in all sectors, especially in key sectors such as investment, trade, tourism, education, health, employment, and infrastructure, including accepting many Cambodian workers to work in South Korea under good and reliable conditions.
