The Cambodian Prime Minister, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet congratulated Singaporean Prime Minister, H.E Lawrence Wong on the People’s Action Party’s success in the federal election held on Saturday, May 3, 2025.

On a phone call on Wednesday May 7, the Cambodian Prime Minister said that the increase in the number of seats in parliament and the votes in favor of the ruling People’s Action Party clearly demonstrates the high confidence of the Singaporean people in the leadership of the Singaporean Prime Minister.

The Cambodian Prime Minister recalled his official visit to Singapore in June 2024, after Lawrence Wong assumed the position of Prime Minister, during which the two sides had many discussions on the strengthening of bilateral relations between two countries and peoples.

On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Cambodia and Singapore, the Cambodian Prime Minister strongly believes that under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the two sides would have opportunities to work together to continue to promote cooperation in all fields for the mutual benefits of the countries. Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet said that he looked forward to welcoming the Prime Minister of Singapore’s official visit to Cambodia in the future.
