The Minister of the Interior said that the responsibility of the National Police has grown higher in the face of problems caused by Online frauds.  

In his message on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the foundation of the Cambodian National Police to be held on Friday, May 16, His Excellency Sar Sokha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior reminded the National Police Force of their increasingly important role in the fight against all forms of Online frauds.

He called for more active and effective prevention and suppression.

The Deputy Prime Minister added that in 2025, and in the coming years, the global situation would continue to be more complex and unpredictable due to geopolitical competition and military superiority of major powers, wars, ethnic and religious conflicts in many regions, along with the increase in all types of transnational criminal activities, especially technology crimes.

The Minister of Interior reminded the National Police Force at all levels to be constantly vigilant in performing their duties with professional conscience to jointly protect peace, independence, national sovereignty, territorial integrity, to ensure security, public order, and social safety, to protect national achievements, to promote national honor and prestige, and to serve the people in a more effective way.

He hopes and firmly believes that all members of the national police forces would continue to develop themselves and their organizations, and to strengthen their leadership and management, especially to continue to implement reforms and promote virtue, morality, capabilities, and operations to achieve their historic mission as service providers to the people and as a strong support for the development of the country in all sectors and circumstances.
