Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, have been in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for participation the 46th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from May 26 to 27, 2025. This visit was made at the invitation of the Honourable Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia and Chair of the 2025 ASEAN Summits.
According to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperationof Cambodia, Samdech Thipadei and Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, wereaccompanied by H.E. Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, along with other ministers, senior government officials and business representatives from the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce.
Under the theme Inclusivity and Sustainability, the Summit focused on advancing ASEAN Community building and is expected to adopt the ASEAN Community Vision 2045, a milestone that will reaffirm and enhance the region's shared commitment to a resilient, innovative, dynamic and people-centered ASEAN.
The Related Summits will offer a platform for ASEAN to deepen and expand its relations with the Gulf Cooperation Council and to engage with both the Gulf Cooperation Council and China on economic cooperation amidst a shifting geopolitical and economic landscape.
Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with ASEAN and other world leaders to strengthen and deepen bilateral relations on issues of common interest and concern.
