The Minister of Commerce of Cambodia was among key speakers in the panel to discuss Global Power Hour: Women Pioneering Change Across Continents of the ASEAN Women Economic Summit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The discussion was held during the 25th ASEAN Economic Community Council Meeting on May 25, 2025.

At the invitation of His Excellency Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry of Malaysia, Her Excellency Cham Nimol, Minister of Trade, participated in the discussion as a speaker.  

The discussion was moderated by His Excellency Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry of Malaysia, and was attended by other senior speakers from the Malaysian public institutions.

The event brought together woman leaders from across the ASEAN region to exchange views on policy-level leadership and initiatives aimed at empowering women in emerging economies. During the event, the Minister of Commerce of Cambodia also shared her views and experiences on the leadership role of women in the economy, and encouraged the next generation of woman leaders to continue to advance and to uphold the role of women.
