The Senate and the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia will jointly organize a congress on July 2, 2025.

The organization of the congress was made public in an annoucement issued by the Secretariat General of the Senate and National Assembly Congress on May 26, 2025.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Chairman of the Senate and National Assembly Congress and President of the Senate will chair the Congress. The three topics to be discussed and approved by the gathering include the topic on social protection system, the topic on informal economy and the topic on agriculture.

The planned Congress was proposed by Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia.

According to Cambodian law, a Senate and National Assembly Congress is convened when necessary or to resolve national issues.
