Addressing the opening of the plenary session of the Senate on Thursday May 29, 2025, Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, stated that Cambodia still wished to build a border of peace, friendship, cooperation and development with all neighboring countries.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen hoped that the Thai Government and Thai leaders share the same spirit as Cambodia to strengthen good neighborly relations.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen called on the public to support the army as the backbone of Cambodia’s national defense.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen asked compatriots to remain calm and trust in the leadership of the Royal Thai Government and the Cambodian Armed Forces in resolving the issue through negotiations rather than by armed force.
