The Cambodian Prime Minister highly appreciated the contribution made by the Japan-Cambodia Parliamentary Friendship Alliance to the promotion of Cambodia-Japan friendship.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, made the appreciation when he met with a delegation of the Japan-Cambodia Parliamentary Friendship Alliance led by Her Excellency OBUCHI Yuko, Member of the National Assembly and President of the Alliance, in Tokyo, Japan, on Thursday May 29.

Her Excellency OBUCHI Yuko expressed her great pleasure over having meeting with the Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet and recalled her father, a former Japanese Prime Minister, who had made significant contributions to strengthening and expanding Japan-Cambodia cooperation, especially in the field of mine clearance in Cambodia. She further said that the Japan-Cambodia Parliamentary Friendship Alliance

has been committed to continuing to strengthen and expand Cambodia-Japan relations and cooperation and praised the rapid development and progress in all sectors of Cambodia in recent years.
