The Ministry of Civil Service Cambodia and the Ministry of Information jointly organized a workshop on "Review and Analysis of the Functions and Structure of the Ministry of Information ".

The workshop took place on Thursday, May 29 under the chairmanship of H.E Hun Many, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Civil Service Cambodia and Deputy Chairman of the National Committee to Promote the Implementation of Key Measures in Public Administration Reform of the Royal Government of the 7th Legislature of the National Assembly.

H.E Neth Pheaktra, Minister of Information, was also present together with senior officials of the two ministries.

H.E Neth Pheaktra, Minister of Information, said that public administration reform is a priority task of the Royal Government in  political program and the first phase pentagonal strategy to continue strengthening governance and modernizing state institutions to become a modern public administration with high capacity, strength, intelligence, and cleanliness to improve the quality of work, discipline, professional ethics, efficiency, and effectiveness, aiming to serve the national interest and respond to the actual needs of the people, especially building the foundation towards achieving the Cambodian Vision 2023 and 2050.

He added that the Ministry of Information aims to transform itself into a proactive, active, interactive, efficient, and effective public relations institution of the Royal Government.
