The Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training on June 2, 2025, issued a petition in full support of the actions of Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, in raising the border issue between Cambodia and Thailand to the International Court of Justice (ICJ). According to the petition of the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training.

The Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training, through the petition, the civil servants at all levels of the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training, fully supported for the actions of Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, in resolving the border issue between Cambodia and Thailand by using bilateral mechanisms, self-defense strategies in case of necessity, and bringing this issue to the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

According to the petition, Cambodia has been and is taking a position to resolve the border issue with political maturity, firm diplomacy and high responsibility, and to continue to build a peaceful border, cooperation and good friendship with Thailand and neighboring countries.

The Ministry of Labor called on the Cambodian people to trust the Royal Government in protecting national sovereignty, territorial integrity and not to take any action that will harm the morale of the frontline soldiers while all must unite to defend the nation and territory.
