Cambodian Prime Minister holds a meeting with French President

On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet held a meeting with French President Emmanuel MACRON in Nice, France.

The bilateral meeting was held on the sidelines of the Third United Nations Conference on Oceans from June 8 to 13, 2025 in Nice, France.

The Cambodian Prime Minister said that France is a good friend of Cambodia and the two countries are working together to upgrade their diplomatic relations to a Strategic Partnership in the near future.

The Prime Minister thanked the French friends for supporting Cambodia in hosting the 20th Francophonie Summit in 2026.

He will also look forward to welcoming French President Emmanuel Macron to the Kingdom of Cambodia at that time.
