Cambodian trade with international markets reaches over US$25 billion, up by 18% in the first 5 months of 2025

Cambodian trade with international markets, in the first five months of this year, reached over US$25 billion, up by18.5%, compared to the same period in 2024, which stood at over US$21 billion.

According to a report from the General Department of Customs and Excise of Cambodia, from January to May 2025, Cambodia’s trade with major trading partners reached over US$25 billion USD, up 18.5%.  

Cambodia's main export and import partners include China, with a trade volume of US$7.6 billion, up by 27.5%, the United States US$4.4 billion, up by 27%, Vietnam US$3.8 billion, up by 8%, Thailand US$1.8 billion, up by 8.3%, and Japan over US$1 billion, up by 28%.

The main goods that Cambodia exported include clothing, footwear, rubber, agricultural products, electrical components, and some other products.
