On June 11, 2025, H.E Thong Khon, Senior Minister and Chairman of the Siem Reap-Angkor Tourism Management and Development Committee, chaired a meeting of the SiemReap-Angkor Tourism Management and Development Committee to disseminate the decision on the implementation of key measures for tourism development in Siem Reap Province in 2025, with the participation of the Minister of Tourism and the Permanent Vice Chairman of the Siem Reap-Angkor Tourism Management and Development Committee C, and approximately 150 members of the Siem Reap-Angkor Tourism Management and Development Committee, institutions, units, relevant authorities, and the private sector.

The meeting was held at the Council of Ministers, focusing on key agenda items such as the implementation of indicators to monitor, track, and evaluate the implementation of key measures for tourism development in Siem Reap Province in 2025, the concept document for the project to enhance tourism attractiveness for the Kampong Phluok natural community, and the progress and development direction of tourism in Phnom Kulen, Chong Khnias, and Siem Reap Town.
