The Standing Committee of the Senate met on Monday June 16 to review and adopt several items on the agenda.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, chaired the meeting.

The meeting reviewed and approved the requests made by the Senate Committees to submit draft laws to the third session of the Senate.

The Committee on Economy, Finance, Banking and Audit proposed to submit a draft law on approving and approving the payment guarantees of the Royal Government of Cambodia to companies investing in the development of electricity, while the Committee on Planning, Investment, Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Rural Development, Environment, Water Resources and Meteorology will submit a draft law on fisheries. The session also approved the election of members of the Senate Committee on Interior, National Defense, Public Service and Border Affairs and the Senate Committee on Health, Social Affairs, Veterans, Youth Rehabilitation, Labor, Vocational Training and Women's Affairs.
