The Cambodian Prime Minister thanks the Cambodian Banking Association and the Cambodian Microfinance Association for studying the possibility of helping to ease the financial burden for workers returning from Thailand

On his official Facebook post on Monday, June 16th, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet thanked the Cambodian Banking Association and the Cambodian Microfinance Association for their positive willingness to study the possibility of helping to ease the financial burden for workers returning from Thailand.

The Cambodian Prime Minister continued to say that this shows the willingness to participate in the spirit of national solidarity and mutual assistance when the nation and our Cambodian citizens are facing problems.

According to a joint statement of the Cambodian Banking Association and the Cambodian Microfinance Association have expressed their full support for the call of Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, for the two associations to study the possibility of helping to alleviate the financial burden of workers returning from Thailand.

The member institutions of the two associations will study their possibilities to participate in introducing appropriate measures to alleviate the financial burden of workers through credit restructuring, which is a mechanism that the association has and will continue to implement.
