The first Deputy Chairman of the Cambodian Mine Action Authority deeply thanked the United Nations Development Program team for their efforts in mobilizing resources to support the Royal Government of Cambodia.
Senior Minister Ly Thuch, First Deputy Chairman of the Cambodian Mine Action Authority, expressed the thanks when he met with Ms. Alissar Chaker, Coordinator of the United Nations Development Program in Phnom Penh on Wednesday June 18.
Senior Minister Ly Thuch said that the United Nations Development Program not only has been a partner in mine action through the Clearing for Results program, but also has maintained close ties in supporting the Royal Government of Cambodia and the Cambodian people.
For her part, Ms. Alissar Chaker, Coordinator of the United Nations Development Program, said that she was impressed by the commitment of the Royal Government to providing hope to its people. She also thanked the Cambodian Mine Action Authority with the United Nations Development Program.
