The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet reaffirmed that aside from the areas of the Emerald Triangle, Ta Moan Thom Temple, Ta Moan Toch Temple, and Ta Krabei Temple, the Royal Government of Cambodia continues to uphold its position of resolving bilateral issues with Thailand through peaceful means.

The Prime Minister of Cambodia, made the remarks when he presided over the closing ceremony of the Central Committee meeting of the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia on Monday, June 23, 2025 in Siem Reap province.

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet said that while Cambodia firmly adheres to bilateral negotiations with Thailand, it does not display weakness or tolerance for any actions that may be construed as disrespect or contempt by the Thai side.

The Cambodian Prime Minister stressed that Cambodia has taken steps such as cutting electricity and internet services, closing checkpoints, and banning the import of vegetables and fruits. Recently, Cambodia has also suspended fuel imports from Thailand.

The Prime Minister of Cambodia affirmed thatrestoring the border to normal conditions is simple. First, reopen the gates, then, proceed to discuss military withdrawals. The key to resolving the border issue is entirely in Thailand’s hands.
