The Cambodian Minister of Tourism, H.E Huot Hak met with Mr. LI TAO, Chairman of the Board of Directors of HEILONGJIANG PROVINCE MAIKU INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. and his colleagues on June 29, 2025.

The purpose of the discussion was to ask support for the company’s project to join the Ministry of Tourism on digitalization work through the development of Smart Tourism, which includes the development of a digital system for managing the Cambodian tourism industry and helping to support the development of the Smart Tourism Cambodia Ecosystem, the creation and management of Tourism Satellite Accounts, Tourism Data Platform, and Smart Tourism Dashboard for monitoring daily tourism operations and activities, and human resource training assistance.

The Tourism Minister expressed his appreciation for the company's good initiatives and projects that have seen Cambodia's rich tourism potential and investment opportunities through promoting them using information technology and artificial intelligence, especially its important participation in digitalization work in line with the policies of the Royal Government of Cambodia in the 7th mandate.
