Addressing a ceremony held in the district of Bati on Tuesday July 1 to mark the celebration of National Fish Day, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Samdech Moha Bovor Thipadei Hun Manet, said that despite the world being in a state of economic complexity and uncertainty, Cambodia has continued to achieve good economic growth and ensure food security for domestic supply and export.

The Prime Minister of Cambodia added that in Cambodia, even in difficult situations such as the lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Cambodia has still been able to ensure food security.

According to the General Department of Immigration of the Ministry of Interior, at the behest of Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, the General Department of Immigration has not allowed the transportation of goods into and out of Cambodia through all international border gates or crossings along the Cambodia-Thailand border.

The Thai side has unilaterally closed all international border gates and crossings along the Cambodia-Thailand border since June 7, 2025.
