The Saudi Arabia’s Parliament Speaker has expressed interest in Cambodia’s agriculture and tourism sectors, urging the two sides to establish better cooperation in this sector.
The point was made when His Excellency Abdullah ibn Muhammad Al ash-Sheikh, President of the Saudi Arabia’s Parliament, paid a courtesy call on Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, on Tuesday, July,1st.
The President of the Saudi Arabia’s Parliament wished to see relations between the two countries improve further through the exchange of visits between the leaders of the two countries to promote relations between the two countries to grow further.
For his part, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his agreement with the remarks of the President of the Saudi Arabia’s Parliament, and he also mentioned the potential in the Kingdom of Cambodia, where Saudi investors should study the possibility to invest in important sectors in the Kingdom of Cambodia, especially agricultural sector.
The Cambodian Senate President said that the agricultural sector in Cambodia still has a lot of potential that needs more foreign investment, and if Saudi investors are interested, they should look into investing in the agro-industrial sector, and another important point is the processing of Cambodian agricultural products for abroad.
He also highlighted that he wished to see direct flights from Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom of Cambodia, as part of increasing cooperation between the two countries and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries to be prosperous.
