Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, considered the visit of the Prime Minister of Singapore to Cambodia to further promote relations between the two countries, especially in the fields of trade, economy and tourism.

The point was made when H.E Lawrence Wong, Prime Minister of Singapore, paid a courtesy call on SamechTecho Hun Sen on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at the Senate Palace.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen considered the visit of the Prime Minister of Singapore to Cambodia as an important part of promoting relations between Cambodia and Singapore to further improve and develop.

Samdech Techo spoke about expanding relations between the two countries further, especially through the trade, economy and tourism sectors of the two countries.

The Cambodian Senate President wished to have more flights from Singapore to Cambodia, especially when Cambodia operates its new Techo International Airport in the near future.

For his part, His Excellency Lawrence Wong, Prime Minister of Singapore, expressed his gratitude to Samdech Techo Hun Sen for warmly welcome him and the delegation. His Excellency Prime Minister of Singapore also expressed his pleasure at the good relations between the two countries, which have been steadily developing, especially this year, which marks the 60th anniversary of official relations and cooperation between the two countries.

His excellency Lawrence Wong, Prime Minister and Minister for Finance of Singapore, paid one-day official visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia, on July 2nd, 2025, at the invitation of SamdechThipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia.
