Minister of Interior Visits Singapore and Sign MOU on Preventing and Combating Transnational Crime

His Excellency Dr. Sar Sokha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior led a high-level delegation to visit the Republic of Singapore from July, 7 to 9, 2025.

The visit was made at the invitation of His Excellency K. Shanmugam, Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister of Interior of Singapore.

H.E Dr. Sar Sokha will hold bilateral talks with H.E K. Shanmugam, Minister for Coordinating National Security and Minister for Home Affairs of Singapore, and sign a Memorandum of Understanding on the Prevention and Combating of Transnational Crime in order to further strengthen relations and cooperation in the security sector between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries, Cambodia and Singapore.

During the visit, H.E Dr. Sar Sokha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, will also have a courtesy call on the Prime Minister of Singapore and will visit key locations related to the provision of public services and the fight against online fraud.

The Ministry of Interior of Cambodia and the Ministry of Interior of Singapore have established a cooperation mechanism in the prevention and combat of transnational crime since 2008.

Based on this spirit of cooperation, the two ministries have exchanged information and delegations at all levels.
