The Kingdom of Cambodia and the Republic of India have committed to continue promoting stronger and more prosperous bilateral relations and cooperation.
The commitment was made and when H.E Pabitra Margherita, Deputy Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India, paid a courtesy call on Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, on Monday, July 7, 2025 at the Peace Palace.
The Deputy Minister expressed his deep gratitude to the Cambodian Prime Minister for allowing him and his delegation to meet and express his pleasure at visiting the Kingdom of Cambodia.
The Deputy Minister highly appreciated the progress of relations and cooperation between the two countries, highlighting the traditional and long-standing friendship between India and Cambodia, and expressed his commitment to continue strengthening and expanding bilateral relations and cooperation to strengthen and grow further.
For his part, the Prime Minister of Cambodia expressed his satisfaction and high appreciation for the good bilateral relations and cooperation in many fields in the past.
The Cambodian Prime Minister also highlighted that the two countries still have many potential areas for cooperation and Cambodia is ready to continue working closely with the Republic of India.
The two sides also discussed and agreed to continue to promote the strengthening and expansion of cooperation between the two countries in key areas, including: economy, trade, investment, finance, security and national defense, culture, education, health, tourism, aviation connectivity, and textiles to further develop.
