The Cambodian Prime Minister thanks the Czech government for its contribution to supporting Cambodia’s socio-economic development, especially in providing scholarships to Cambodian students

The Prime Minister of Cambodia, SamdehThipadei Hun Manet, met with H.E Martin Vávra, the Outgoing Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Kingdom of Cambodia, on Monday, July, 7th at the Peace Palace.

The Outgoing Ambassador expressed his satisfaction with the progress of Czech-Cambodian relations and cooperation, and highly appreciated the political consultation mechanism between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries, which has contributed to strengthening and expanding bilateral relations and cooperation.

The Ambassador thanked the Royal Government of Cambodia and relevant ministries and institutions for their good cooperation during his diplomatic mission in Cambodia, which has made many fruitful achievements.

He also said that the Czech Republic will continue to strengthen and expand cooperation with Cambodia to further develop through development assistance, especially in the fields of education, health, and agriculture. He also pledged to encourage Czech investors to consider investing in Cambodia.

For his part, the Prime Minister of Cambodia congratulated the Czech Ambassador on his diplomatic mission in Cambodia and expressed high appreciation for the Ambassador’s efforts in actively contributing to the strengthening and expansion of Cambodian-Czech relations and cooperation.

The Cambodian Prime Minister stressed that Cambodia and the Czech Republic have long-standing friendly relations that have been strengthened and expanded steadily to the present day.

He also thanked the Czech government for its contribution to supporting Cambodia’s socio-economic development, especially by providing scholarships to Cambodian students to study in the former Czechoslovakia and now Czech Republic.
