The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, SamdechThipadei Hun Manet said that the most important quality of education rested on teachers. Even if there are sufficient materials in schools, if there is a lack of qualified teachers, it will not be possible to provide education to students.

The point was made when Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister presided over the inauguration of school buildings and other facilities in Kampong Speu province on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.

The Cambodian Prime Minister stressed that the Royal Government, since the previous mandates has continued to invest in training and improving the qualifications of teachers.

The Prime Minister of Cambodia went on to say that therefore, teachers' ability to teach clearly is a necessity and the Royal Government has been  working hard to strengthen the qualifications of teachers.

The Cambodian Prime Minister added that the government's goal is to have all schools equipped with modern learning equipment to improve students' learning efficiency.
