H.E Jacques PELLET, the outgoing Ambassador of the Republic of France to Cambodia, said that cooperation between France and Cambodia has demonstrated the strong relations between the two countries.

The Ambassador mentioned this when he paid a farewell visit to Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, on Monday July 7, 2025, at the Peace Palace.

The outgoing French Ambassador thanked the Cambodian Prime Minister for inviting him to participate in the 3rd United Nations Conference on Oceans in Nice, France, last June.

The Ambassador stressed cooperation in several fields between France and Cambodia, which has demonstrated strong relations and informed the Prime Minister of Cambodia about the continued strengthening and expansion of thecooperation in important sectors, including: national security and defense, energy, infrastructure, water resources, clean water supply, culture, education, and health.

The Prime Minister of Cambodia highly appreciated the efforts of the Ambassador who has contributed to strengthening and expanding relations and cooperation between the two countries.

The Cambodian Prime Minister highly appreciated the progress of relations and cooperation between the two countries, especially the strengthening of relations between senior government officials and the private sectors of the two countries.

He also thanked France for its support in severalfields and highlighted the need to continue to strengthen and expand bilateral relations and cooperation.
