Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, H.E Sar Sokha, on July 8, 2025, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Ministry of Interior of Cambodia and the Ministry of Home Affairs of Singapore on Preventing and Combating Transnational Crime with H.E K. Shanmugam, Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister of Home Affairs of Singapore, at the Singapore Ministry of Home Affairs.

The Ministry of Interior of Cambodia and the Ministry of Home Affairs of Singapore have established a cooperation mechanism in preventing and combating transnational crime since 2008.

Based on this spirit of cooperation, the two ministries have expressed high attention to the exchange of information, the exchange of delegations at all levels, and cooperation in investigating and apprehending criminals.

Deputy Prime Minister Sar Sokha led a high-level delegation of the Ministry of Interior of Cambodia to visit Singapore from July 7 to 9, 2025.

The visit was made at the invitation of H.E K. Shanmugam, Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs of Singapore.
