H.E Chen Zhou, Vice Minister of International Relations of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, told the Prime Minister of Cambodia, Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet that in the situation where the world remains uncertain and experienced geopolitical and economic tensions strengthening and expanding cooperation between the two countries at all levels and in all fields is increasingly important.

The remarks were made when the Chinese Vice Minister of International Relations paid a courtesy call on Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet on July 15, 2025 at the Peace Palace.

H.E. Chen Zhou conveyed the greetings of President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang of the People's Republic of China to Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, and Prime Minister Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet. He said that the state visit of President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Cambodia in April 2025 is a testament to the positive development of relations between the two countries.

The Prime Minister of Cambodia highly appreciated the progress of relations between the two countries at all levels, in the spirit of an all-weather Cambodia-China community with a shared future.

The Cambodian Prime Minister stressed that the good relations of bilateral cooperation cannot be separated from the close relationship and cooperation between the two parties, with youth at the core.

He also encouraged the youth of the two countries to continue to strengthen and expand their relations and cooperation in order to contribute to the continued development of relations and cooperation between the two countries.
