The Cambodian Prime Minister calls for the Governors of the Provincial and Capital, the Commanders of relevant units and ministries and institutions to strictly measures against Online scams

Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has called for tougher measures against Online scams.

The Cambodian Prime Minister made the call following reports of insecurity cause by Online scams in the region and the world.

The Prime Minister of Cambodia ordered the governors of the capital and the provincial administrations strictly to implement the measures.

According to the Royal Government Order signed by the Cambodian Prime Minister on July 14, 2025, “the Governors of the Provincial and Capital, the Chiefs of the Provincial and Capital Police, the Commanders of relevant units and ministries and institutions shall strictly and responsibly implement the order. Failure to comply with the Order or failure to cooperate in any way shall be subject to transfer or termination of positions.”

The Cambodian Prime Minister also ordered all ministries, institutions, the National Committee for Maritime Security, the Secretariat of the Commission for Combating Online Scams, the Unified Command of the Provincial and Capital Administrations, units and relevant authorities to implement this order with the utmost rigor and high effectiveness.
