Cambodian Prime Minister: Reform of Civil Service must be done regularly

Samdech Moha Bovor Thipadei Hun Manet, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, said that the reform of civil service must be done regularly, not just now or next year.

The point was made when Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet presided over the closing ceremony of the annual sum-up meeting of the Ministry of Civil Service Cambodia, on April 4. 

Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet further said the Ministry of Civil Service Cambodia, plays an important role in supporting the performance of ministries and institutions at the national and sub-national level, especially the reform of public administration, which is a priority for the government of the seventh mandate.

The Cambodian Prime Minister added that the Royal Government needs to continue to reform its institutions and governance to achieve a highly capable, intelligent and efficient public administration and to work in a one-person system, ensuring high efficiency in all areas.
